Hey guys,

Missed me? I'm finally out of Basic and now I'm settled into my new place. I'm not gonna go into any further detail, but I had a pretty crazy last few months. Made friends, made enemies, learned things about myself, pushed myself beyond certain limits, and came out smelling like a rose. ^^

I missed you all obviously, wow this place looks different, unpopular opinion and obvious sarcasm, but I'm not a fan of this new format, it's confusing and hard to organize my stuff, but I'll get over it.

Just wanted to let y'all know I'm back. I'll likely be posting more military focused art in the near future alongside my usual cartoon and anime pics. Not sure if it'll be focused on any particular branch, I wanna diversify.

So with all that out there, I wanna say hi again.

And hope you all stick around for more art to come. ^^

Hey guys, well this has been boiling over for a while. Back in Halloween of last year I decided enough was enough. It's been years since I graduated college, and pursuing a job in my field has been an aggravating and disappointing endeavor. It seems the only jobs willing to humor me were:

-commission-based salary jobs in Sales (I've been offered over a hundred in NJ, NY, PA, WI, OH, CA, NV, and FL)

or

-physical labor jobs: (I worked for 6 months at a lumber yard which was a nightmare, and I currently have been doing junk clean-up for the past year which has been good, but leaves me wanting.)

So back in early fall of 2019 I spoke it over with my family and decided I am enlisting in the military. I scored high on my ASVAB and took several follow-up tests and relatively high scores across the board, even in math, science, chemistry, and engineering which I never put much thought into, but seem to have a knack for.

Then on Halloween I was sent to MEPS in Brooklynn where I swore the oath, and received a shipping date. It was supposed to be in May, but due to the pandemic it was pushed to mid-july.

Now we've reached the homestretch of my waiting period, and it's nearly time for me to go. I will be gone for several months going through boot camp/basic training and then off to A-school for specialized training. I will have my computer back once Boot Camp is over so my activity will hopefully resume after that.

(Disclaimer: PLEASE, DO NOT ask me or debate about American politics and other happenings on as of the present in the comment section, I understand everyone has their opinions of this and that, just know that I am TOTALLY AWARE of the risks and issues of the present, and still decided as a functioning, logical adult that this decision is the best course of action for me! Sorry needed to put this here to vent a frustrating question people press me on when I tell them I've enlisted.)
